are the top five reasons a reader should give The Variant Series a chance!
Jena Leigh: 1. I try to make the books as much fun to read as
possible! If I'm not having fun writing them, I know that a reader won't have
fun reading them, so I try to make the entire process as enjoyable as I can. 2.
It's a great mix of action, adventure and paranormal romance! 3. Over the
course of the last few books, the characters have really taken on a life of
their own. It's been amazing to watch them grow and progress as the series
continues -- and every time I think I have them all figure out, they always
manage to surprise me! 4. There are enough twists and turns to keep you turning
the pages! 5. Declan, Nate, and Aiden! Need I say more? :)
TeamNerd Reviews: How
did you come up with the title for the third installment in the series, REDUX?
Jena Leigh: It was a tough decision! In the end, it came down to
two possible titles that both reflected the storyline in the book --
REVELATION and REDUX. And while there are definitely plenty of
major revelations to be found in book three, REDUX turned out to be the
favorite among the friends and family I polled while making my decision!

you could tag team one character from YOUR series and one character from ANOTHER
series that you love to save the world from the zombie apocalypse, which
two characters would you choose and why? What weapons slash powers would you
add on to them? Would they wear any kind of superhero type costume?
Jena Leigh: I'd probably pick Kenzie O'Connell from the Variant
Series and Charlie Davidson from Darynda Jones' series of the same name!
Between the two of them, their already amazing fighting abilities, and the epic
amount of sass they'd unleash along the way, I'm not sure
they'd need any extra weapons or powers! I see them saving the world in time
for morning coffee.

you, like Alex and Declan, could jump back in time to change
a decision you had made, would you? If you would, what would drive
you to? If you wouldn't, why would hold you back from doing it?
Jena Leigh: While there are definitely moments
in my past I wish I could forget, there aren't any moments I'd ever want to
change. Even the most painful experiences helped to bring me to this place in
life and to turn me into the person I am today. And for that, I'm pretty
grateful.

question and we'll end on a swoony note *hehe*. If you could choose ANY
character from ANY book that you just LOOOOOVE to go out on a date with and
make out with at the end of said date, which character are you daydreaming
about? And where would you guys go on your date?
Jena Leigh: Lately I've been swooning over Kaidan Rowe from
Wendy Higgins' Sweet Evil series! Grabbing coffee and conversation, followed -- of
course -- by some live music, sounds like a dream date to me!
