OUR THOUGHTS: When we first came upon this cover, we couldn't stop staring at it. It instantly attracted us to wanting to discover more about what the book is about which only made us even more hungry to read it next month! The dark trees where an eerie castle full of secrets is hidden and a boy lingering in the background with a beast-like figure right behind him gives off such an ominous feel. You just know something magical and powerful and dangerous is going to happen! The cover is very well-detailed with subtly. Figures of animals--deer, bunny, wolf, birds--hide out behind the trees like they're warning the reader don't walk down the foreboding white path to the scary castle. We're definitely DETERMINED to find out what is going on inside the scary castle and learn more about the curse that plagues Sarah's family and what happens when she falls in love!
