Last night I along with my best bud Eve, her sister Samala, my big brother Omar and my cousin Rosa, drove 40 minutes out from where we live to Books and Books in Coral Gables where we had the privilege of meeting and chatting with the lovely Rachel Hawkins. She's the New York Times Bestselling author of the Hex Hall Trilogy and her new book, SCHOOL SPIRITS, comes out TODAY!! (Get it on Amazon and Barnes and Noble!)
After hastily sneaking in and making our way to empty chairs, I quickly whipped out my camera and started recording Rachel who was already talking. I got the chance to ask her a few questions and get a signed advance copy of SCHOOL SPIRITS before it hit bookshelves.
Rachel was such a pleasure to meet because she has a great sense of humor and is wonderfully kind and open. She also remembered me from Twitter and loved the questions I asked her so I couldn't stop nerding out *hehe*

After I left and walked all the way back to the car with my peeps, I remembered I wanted to get a special shoutout for the one and only Bridget ;) So along with Eve and Samala we hurriedly made our way back to the store in the hopes of catching Rachel before she left. Thankfully, she was still signing copies of books for the store and she was gracious enough to give out a shoutout not only to Bridget but one to TeamNerd Reviews as well =D
